AC: Dimension Values Cannot Be Removed from Line Items in Lightning After Journal Completion

A defect in Certinia Accounting prevented users from removing Dimension values from posted financial document line items in Lightning view. While users could add new Dimensions, attempts to remove existing ones were unsuccessful. As a workaround, users could utilize Classic view to remove the dimensions. The issue has been resolved in specific upgraded versions.

Resolution
  • Upgrade Accounting to Summer 2025 SP16 or a newer version
Cause
  • A defect prevented users from removing a Dimension value on posted financial document line items in General Ledger within FM Cloud
  • The problem occurs when editing line item Dimensions in the Lightning view, while the classic view continues to allow removals
Additional Notes
  • Optional workaround: switch to Classic view to remove the dimensions
