BC: Error Message: "Completion is in progress for this billing document"

An error stating "Completion is in progress for this billing document" can occur when attempting to complete a billing document. This is caused by a value present in the CompletionProcessTracking__c field. To resolve this, the value in that field must be cleared or deleted. After saving the change, the billing document should complete as expected.

  • Error message: "Completion is in progress for this billing document" thrown when attempting to complete some billing documents.
Resolution
  1. Clear or delete the text in the field CompletionProcessTracking__c.
  2. Select Save.
  3. Verify that the Billing Document completes as expected.
Cause
  • The field CompletionProcessTracking__c on the header SObject is not null
