ArticlesBC: Billing Documents Are Not Posted, Stuck In "Posting" Status

Resolution 1:

1. Assign the following permission sets:
   1. AC Integrations - FDN Billing Document - Post
   2. AC Integrations - FDN Billing Document - Retry Post
2. Have the System Administrator add the Retry Post button to the page layout after permission sets are assigned using the following steps:
   1. Open any Billing Document > click Edit Layout > click Buttons > drag the Retry Post button to the 'Custom Buttons' section > click Save
3. Click the Retry Post button to post the Billing Document that is stuck in "Posting" status

Resolution 2:

1. Go to the Worker Items tab
2. Delete the relevant Worker Item (even if it has attempts remaining)
3. If the error "You cannot delete worker item records manually." is shown, raise a Case with Certinia Support
4. If not, try to Post again

Resolution 3:

1. Go to the Accounting Background Workers tab
2. Delete the relevant Accounting Background Worker
3. Try to Post again

Resolution 4:

1. Go to the Background Posting Scheduler in the App Launcher
2. Either select Run Now or set a schedule in Schedule Edit, then click Schedule Now

Cause 1:

• The user does not have permission sets and/or access to buttons to try re-posting

Cause 2:

• Stuck Worker Item

Cause 3:

• Stuck Accounting Background Worker

Cause 4:

• Background Posting Schedule needed to be run

• The "AC Integrations - FDN Billing Document - Retry Post" permission set is not included in newer package versions
• SDA Key is required to delete Work Items
• SDA Key is not required to delete Accounting Background Workers
