ProcedureHelp ProcedureMany of the dashboards that we provide at Certinia are built with a single dataset, this means that the dashboard has been built with a single source of data and as a result interaction through additional filters will work like magic. Some exceptions do exist, like the PSA Overview dashboard, which brings together many datasets, but we always try to build our dashboards with expandability in mind. This is one of the reasons we worked on adding the ability to include custom fields with ease. Although this video goes through PSA Analytics the lessons from this video can be applied to any product or dashboard that has been created. ObjectiveHelp ObjectiveThis article is about how you can extend existing dashboards with additional filters as not every dashboard will have the options you need by default. A common example is that in the latest version of PSA Analytics, you can include custom fields from both the Project and Contact (Resource) objects, and it's reasonable to expect to be able to use these fields as filters.
