The project reporting dataset combines many different objects related to projects, in this case, we are going to look at 3 objects in the dataset:

• Project Task
• Project Task Assignment
• Task Time

All queries (lens) and dashboards you build can be filtered by: 

• Project
• Task
• Region-Practice-Group
• Project name
• Project manager
• Resource
• Time

This article introduces you to the task time reporting functionality in the Project Reporting dataset. You can answer such questions as:

• What is my monthly total of actual hours by task and resource?
• How many hours have been submitted on this task to date?
• What is the variance of actuals versus planned hours on this task to date?
• What is the revenue and costs on this task to date? 
• Show me all tasks related to a resource on this task
• Show me all tasks related to a milestone on this task
