Don't be surprised if you get additional data you did not expect when exporting. We do lots of clever things with our out-of-the-box dashboards to help you visualize your data in the best possible way. It's also important to note that the XL+ application can be used to connect to Lens tables but not those within dashboards, so keep an eye out for a future Bite Size Analytics around this.

With any reporting solution, no matter how great it is, the question will always come "How do I export to excel?". When it comes to Einstein Analytics, any table or data behind a chart can be exported provided you have the right permissions. This Salesforce document is very useful for information on this, in addition to this article on permissions as you may need to create custom permission sets for some users.
