At the bottom of this JSON code, you'll see the list of datasets used with ids and names. If you want to use a different dataset then a simple find a replace on those ids and names is all that's needed. If the structure of the dataset is the same with the same columns then it will work without error. Note that if the dataset has a name that is a subset of a field used then you may want to go through and update dataset ids and names individually otherwise it will fail. An example could be if you have a dataset called 'Billing' and a field called 'BillingDate', where you end up with an error because you've performed a find and replace resulting in 'Billing2' and 'Billing2Date'. The video below will show you how to manually switch datasets and move dashboards. ObjectiveHelp ObjectiveSometimes when using Einstein Analytics you come across scenarios where there are duplicate datasets that need removing but both are being used, or you have something in a sandbox that needs moving into production. This byte aims to show you how you can do this. Behind most of Einstein Analytics is JSON code that is normally hidden from view, containing all the details of the lens or dashboard plus some complex items we build into the code at Certinia.
