Procedure

When it comes to CRM Analytics we try to design our dashboards with configurable elements to suit different businesses. A very common example is that every customer has a different chart of accounts (unless using the best practice) so our dashboards need to be configurable to allow for this. These sorts of configurations can be set at the dashboard level, but Einstein Analytics also allows you to set user-defined configurations. Examples of this might be setting a dashboard to always load a particular region or dimension that is relevant to you. You can even have multiple personal views for a single dashboard so that you can switch between your settings very quickly. It's important to note that dashboard configurations are shared org-wide but user views are not. In addition to the video below check out the salesforce help on the topic.
