This article provides a way for users that don't necessarily have the correct records setup but expect to see the data. To cater to these users it is possible to turn off this security model entirely by removing it from individual datasets. Watch the gif below to see how this can be done.

When it comes to reporting on data in Salesforce, the security of data is very important. While Einstein Analytics does not allow field-level security, it does allow row-based security. In both Financial Statements and FM Analytics this is implemented through company access. You will only be able to access the data within a dataset when your user has a 'User Company' record setup. These are normally set up as a related list on the Company record. This means that two users could see different values because of different company access.

Sometimes you will have users that don't necessarily have these records setup but expect to see the data. To cater to these users it is possible to turn off this security model entirely by removing it from individual datasets. Watch the gif below to see how this can be done.

Accessing the datasets in the way above is also good to see other details such as how many rows there are. Once the security predicate is removed anyone with access to the Analytics Studio app will be able to see all records as it cannot easily be removed on a user by user basis.

Note: Remember that just creating a new user company will not make the data visible instantly as you will need to refresh the data and dataflows.
