CL: Error Message: "Value for c2g__Dimension2__c from record XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX does not contain a unique record name"

An error message stating "Value for c2g__Dimension2__c from record... does not contain a unique record name" occurs when duplicate Dimension 2 names exist. To resolve this, a report should be created to identify the duplicate Dimension 2 entries. The names of the duplicate dimensions must then be changed to ensure each one is unique.

  1. Reports > New Report
  2. Select Dimension 2 report type > Create
  3. Pull in all dimensions > Run Report
  4. Find duplicate Dimension 2s and change so each is unique

  1. Duplicate Dimension 2 with the same names
