ArticlesDatastream Error Message: “insufficient access rights on cross-reference ID” when Trying to Upload Journals

Issue 1

1. User is trying to upload Journals via Datastream to multiple companies and returns an error: "Journal line. Items (Table 1), row 1: insufficient access rights on cross-reference ID Upload failed"

Issue 2

1. User is trying to upload a Journal via Datastream to a different company that they have selected.  The Journal header creates but the Journal lines return an error: "Journal line. Items (Table 1), row 1: insufficient access rights on cross-reference ID Upload failed"

Resolution 1

• Ensure the Companies involved in the Journals are selected within App Launcher > Select Company

Resolution 2

• Adjust the User's profile to remove View All permissions from Accounting Currency and Accounting Period objects, thus preventing the successful creation of the Journal header 

Cause 1

• One or more of the Companies were not selected in App Launcher > Select Company

Cause 2:

• There were missing permissions in order to create the Journal header successfully but not allow the lines to upload. View All permission had been granted on Accounting Currency and Accounting Period on the User's profile
