Error: "There was a problem loading Conga: Unexpected Server Error" when selecting some button functions for Conga Composer

An "Unexpected Server Error" may occur when selecting some Conga Composer button functions. This error happens because the button redirects to an incorrect Conga URL. This is a known issue, and users should use the alternative Conga Resources tab instead. Contacting Conga Support or Certinia Support is recommended for further assistance.

  • Some of the Conga buttons, "Conga Composer" and "Conga Resources" both lead to an "Unexpected Server Error" pop-up
  • Most of the other Conga buttons function as expected, it's just these two with the error issue
  • Error is There was a problem loading Conga: Unexpected Server Error

Resolution
  • This is a known issue with the Conga function and this is expected behaviour
  • Conga advise to use the alternative Conga Resources tab as detailed in the Conga Composer guide on their website
  • The button redirects the user to the Resource site, so the error occurs when the Conga function is pointing to the incorrect one
  • The "About Conga Composer" tab is planned to be removed from a future release, so can be disregarded
  • Please raise a case with Conga Support if you are able, or contact Certinia Support to raise one on your behalf

  • Conga Resource button was redirecting to the incorrect Conga URL
