How to Use Lightning Component Utilization Calculation

A new Lightning component is available to calculate utilization. This component replaces the previous custom button. The "Calculate Utilization" quick action must be added to the Region, Practice, and Group page layouts within the Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience Actions section. The old custom button should be removed from the layout.

Procedure

Follow the steps below for Practice and Group page layouts as well:

  1. Navigate to Setup > Object Manager > Region > Page Layout.
  2. Click Mobile & Lightning Actions.
  3. Select Calculate Utilization ( Action Type = Quick action).
  4. Drag to the Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience Actions section.
  5. Remove the Calculate Utilization ( Action type = Custom Button) from above section.
  6. Click Save.
