JIRA: Connector Field Mapping Does Not Convert Text to Numeric Value

A known defect prevented the "Original Estimate" field from synchronizing when using the Jira Task connector with a text data type mapping. This resulted in the field appearing blank in PSA. To resolve this issue, an upgrade to Spring 2024 SP8 is required. The upgrade ensures the connector correctly synchronizes text-to-numeric mappings.

Symptoms

Resolution
  1. To resolve, upgrade to Spring 2024 SP8 where the connector now correctly synchronizes text‑to‑numeric mappings
