PSA: Billings Totals from Timecards Not Calculating Correctly on Project Overview

Incorrect billing totals on the Project Overview page may result from the `Actuals Lock` checkbox being enabled in Custom Settings. This setting prevents the PSA Actuals Scheduled Job from running, which stops the system from updating totals with the latest timecard information. To resolve this, navigate to the Actuals Batch settings and uncheck the `Actuals Lock` checkbox. This action allows the scheduled job to run and calculate the billing totals correctly.

Resolution

  • Navigate to Setup > Custom Settings > Internal > Actuals Batch

  • Uncheck the Actuals Lock checkbox

  • Click Save

  • The Scheduled Job will now run and the billing totals will be calculated correctly

Cause

The Actuals Lock checkbox was checked in the Custom Settings, which prevented the PSA Actuals Scheduled Job from running. This caused the billing totals on the Project Overview page to be incorrect and not updated with the latest timecard information.
