PSA: Error Message: "Something went wrong and suggested skills were not loaded. Contact your administrator to update the PS Cloud Core Analytics app"

An error can occur when editing skills and certifications for a resource request. The message states, "Something went wrong and suggested skills were not loaded. Contact your administrator to update the PS Cloud Core Analytics app." This issue arises from an outdated PS Cloud Core Analytics app following a PSA app upgrade. To resolve this, the PS Cloud Core Analytics app must be upgraded.

Symptoms
  1. Select a resource request
  2. Apply filters
  3. Edit skills and certifications

An error occurs: "Something went wrong and suggested skills were not loaded. Contact your administrator to update the PS Cloud Core Analytics app." 


Resolution
  1. Click the gear icon in the top-right corner
  2. In the Quick Find box, search for “Auto-Install App”
  3. Select PS Cloud Core Analytics App from the list
  4. Click Upgrade

Cause

This issue occurred because the PSA app was upgraded, but the PS Cloud Core Analytics app had not yet been upgraded.
