PSA: Error Message: "You do not have access to the Apex class named RMWP_ProjectManagerController" on the Project Management Workspace

Users may encounter an error message stating they do not have access to the Apex class "RMWP_ProjectManagerController". This occurs when the user's profile lacks the necessary permissions for Apex classes. To resolve this, administrators can either create a custom permission set or edit the user's profile to grant access to the required Apex classes.

Resolution
  • Option I: Create a custom Permission Set
    1. Create a custom Permission Set
    2. Assign to the affected User
    3. Select Apex Class Setting 
    4. Select all that start with 'pse.RMWP_' 
    5. Select Save 
  • Option II: Customize the user Profile(s)
    1. Go to Setup
    2. Go to Profiles
    3. Select the affected User's Profile
    4. Select Apex Class Access
    5. Select Edit
    6. Select the Apex Classes to add to the Profile
    7. Select the Add button
    8. Select Save
    9. Verify that the errors are no longer displaying
  • Option III: Vote on the Idea to have this added to the managed workspaces Permission Sets
Cause
  • The affected User does not have Apex Classes granted
