PSA Error: "You do not have access to the Apex class named RM_ResourceScheduleController"

Users may encounter an error message, "You do not have access to the Apex class named RM_ResourceScheduleController," when viewing the Resource Schedule tab on the Resource Request page. This issue is caused by the user's profile lacking the necessary Apex Class access. To resolve this, the 'pse_RM_ResourceScheduleController' Apex Class must be added to the user's profile. Alternatively, a custom Permission Set can be created or edited and assigned to the affected users.

Summary
Users may encounter an error message, "You do not have access to the Apex class named RM_ResourceScheduleController," when viewing the Resource Schedule tab on the Resource Request page. Symptoms
  • Error Message: "You do not have access to the Apex class named RM_ResourceScheduleController" when going to the Resource Request page in Lightning and viewing the Resource Schedule tab.
Resolution
  1. Go to Setup
  2. Select Users
  3. Select the affected User
  4. Select the Profile
  5. Select Apex Class Access
  6. Select Edit
  7. Select pse_RM_ResourceScheduleController
  8. Select Add
  9. Select Save
  10. Confirm that the error is no longer thrown
Cause
  • The affected User does not have Apex Classes granted
Additional Notes

A custom Permission Set could also be edited/created and assigned to the affected User(s)
