PSA : How to Transfer Ownership of the Record

When a record owner is inactive or frozen, ownership must be transferred. To resolve this, a System Administrator must enable the "Transfer Record" permission. This is located under System Permissions within the affected user's profile settings.

Resolution
  1. Log in as System Admin
  2. Navigate to Setup and search for affected User Profile.
  3. In the Profile page, Search for System Permissions.
  4. Click on Edit, and then search for "Transfer Record".
  5. Enable the Transfer Record permission.
