PSA: Project Task Board Record Details Section Keeps Spinning When Selecting Edit

When a user selects "Edit" in the Project Task Board Record Details pane, the user interface may display a loading spinner indefinitely. This behavior occurs when the user is missing the necessary permissions to view and edit project task details. To resolve this, assign the "PSA - Manage Gantt and Project Tasks" and "PSA - Manage Project Tasks" permission sets to the affected user.

  2. Confirm issue is now resolved
Cause
  • Missing permissions required to view and edit Project Task details from the Task Board.
