Answer
  • Multiple Expense Entry shows an assignment by default when the Resource has only one Assignment. Since there is only one, the UI tries to help by defaulting to that assignment.
  • If the user has two assignments then, the UI defaults to blank.
Additional Notes
  • To verify how many Assignments to user has, go to the Contact record  of the resource > Assignments.
