SCM: Can the "Launch Billing Engine" Button be Used to Invoice Only Some, but Not All of the Billable Service Contracts?

The "Launch Billing Engine" button does not support selective invoicing for Service Contracts. When this function is used, the billing engine processes all eligible Service Contracts. It does not limit billing to only the contracts that have been selected.

  • Can the "Launch Billing Engine" button be used to Invoice some but not all of the Billable Service Contracts?
Answer
  • Service Contracts is not able to bill selected invoices at this time.  When you select the "Launch Billing Engine" button from the Service Contracts list view, the billing engine will bill all eligible Service Contracts, regardless of which Service Contracts are selected.
