Customer Overview — Summer 2026

We are excited to share our Summer '26 release, which brings significant enhancements and new innovations across our Professional Services, Customer Success, and Financial Management Clouds. We designed this release around three overarching commitments to your business: expanding practical AI across every workflow, elevating daily user experiences with modernized workspaces, and strengthening end-to-end financial governance.

As part of this release, we are continually enhancing our Veda engine—expanding our library of Veda intelligent actions from 64 to 134 (enabling seamless execution across Agentforce, Claude, and Copilot) while introducing new and expanded agentic capabilities that take repetitive administrative tasks off your team's plate.

What's New in Professional Services Cloud

The Summer '26 Professional Services Cloud updates help professional services teams protect project margins, closely align sales with delivery, and accelerate project execution:

Success Management

Manage playbooks

Manage Policy Versions and Get More Tailored Work Suggestions

Edit your Dynamic Playbook policies with confidence: every change now creates a new, reviewable version instead of silently overwriting the last one, so CS Ops admins can see exactly what changed and restore an earlier version if needed. Work suggestions are also easier to act on — CSMs get dedicated, pre-filtered list views sorted by recent activity, and the policies behind those suggestions can now respond differently depending on the triggering event rather than always generating the same fixed set of tasks. This is most valuable for teams already managing policies at scale who have hit the limits of the previous behavior.

For more information, see CS Policy Version Overview.

Enhancing the CS Agent in Agentforce

The same broad set of account-intelligence, playbook, and activity actions you already use — generating risks, KPI progress, and expansion opportunities, managing playbooks and tasks, and summarizing recent activity through natural-language conversation — has been rebuilt for consistency and reliability, and rigorously evaluated against real CSM scenarios before shipping. This benefits CSMs on Agentforce licensing who want the agent to behave predictably.

For more information, see CS AI Features Overview.

Manage customers

Roll Up Related Accounts into a Single Customer View

Manage complex, multi-account customers as one connected customer instead of a set of disconnected Salesforce Accounts. The new Customer Overview object lets you aggregate related Accounts under a single parent, so CSMs and leaders can filter and report at the level that matches how the relationship is actually managed — not just per Account. Success Tracker, Value Tracker, Activity Tracker, and Customer Success Segments all support filtering by the new Customer Overview field, giving leaders a more holistic view of large, multi-account enterprise customers. Allocating resources at the Customer Overview level are planned for a future release.

For more information, see About Customer Overview.

Turn Account Insights into Immediate Action from the Account Summary

Go straight from insight to action on the Account Summary: in this release we have added the account summary into a new component that can live on the Record Page in the Overview section, this provides an improved user experience and additional functionality over the action generated window. CSMs can now follow inline links back to the source records to verify what the AI is telling them, and create an Expansion Opportunity or save the summary without leaving the panel.

Admins can now reorder or remove sections and / or use templatized prompts to bring in their own fields, so the summary reflects how each organization actually works. The same modular sections are available through the CS Agent, so CSMs can ask for just the part they need rather than generating a full account brief every time. As with all AI-generated content, the CSMs are encouraged to review a section before acting on it. For more information, see AI Account Summaries Overview.

Prepare for Business Reviews Faster with an Enhanced AI Summary

Walk into every business review already prepared. The AI-generated Business Review Summary now generates content noticeably faster whilst gracefully handling accounts with limited data, skipping sections rather than generating low-quality responses. CSMs can also ask the CS Agent to turn a generated summary straight into a meeting agenda, and the summary itself now lives on the account's record page rather than in a separate action window, so it's easier to find and reference during the review itself. As with all AI-generated summaries, the CSM is encouraged to review it before relying on it in the actual business review.

For more information, see AI Business Review Summaries Overview.

Export Business Review Summaries as Branded Presentations

Turn a generated Business Review Summary directly into a customer-ready slide deck. Upload your own presentation templates then select & export the AI-generated Business Review summary straight into it — no more manually copying findings into slides before a meeting. This removes one of the more time-consuming steps of business-review prep and keeps the output consistent with how each team already presents to customers. Requires creating & uploading as many presentation templates you want before the first export via an action window on the workspace or on the Customer Success Administrators App page.

For more information, see Exporting Business Review Summaries as Presentations.

Use CS Cloud Inside the Salesforce Console App

No more workarounds for locked-down or proxy-restricted network environments that previously blocked standard browser-tab access — CS Cloud now works from within your standard Salesforce Console App workspace. Core surfaces including the Account Grid, Activity Tracker, History Tracker, Playbook Task Manager, and other key trackers and grids now navigate correctly inside the Console App. Links inside toast notifications and modals are not supported.

Manage success plans and objectives

Build Consistent High-Quality Success Plans with AI Assistance

Give every CSM a running start on a high-quality Success Plan instead of a blank page. CSMs can now generate Objectives from account context on their own, and generate KPIs for objectives that already exist — independently of each other, so neither step blocks the other. A new AI-generated Success Plan Summary available on the Success Plan record page, gives managers and CSMs an instant read on plan’s status without scrolling through every objective.

For more information, see Success Management Summary Overview.

Get More Done Through Success Plan Reporting and CS Agent Task Closing

Get a standardized read on Success Plan health without manual exports: a centralized, pre-built reporting foundation gives teams out-of-the-box views of active plans and coverage gaps in place of ad hoc reporting. The CS Agent can also surface open playbook tasks right after a CS Activity is logged and close them in the same conversation, closing the loop between logging work and keeping tasks current.

Success Operations

Monitor customer success performance

Get a Complete, Out-of-the-Box View of Customer Success Performance

Get a consistent, ready-made picture of customer health, progress, and risk without building your own reports. CS Cloud now ships a packaged set of Customer Success Salesforce reports and dashboards — covering objectives, resourcing, playbooks, timecards, and success plans — so leaders and admins no longer need to piece together bespoke reporting for every deployment, reducing the time to live. New customers get a leading-practice reporting foundation from day one, and existing customers can move away from disconnected or one-off reports onto a common, supported model.

Customer Value Management

Track value

Surface AI-Recommended Expansion Opportunities Automatically

Let CS Cloud tell you where the next expansion opportunity is, instead of relying on a CSM to spot it. Expansion Opportunities now surfaces ranked, data-driven product recommendations as Work Suggestions — based on what similar customers already purchase — and automatically excludes products a customer already has or expansions already in flight, so what you see is actionable rather than repetitive. This moves Expansion Opportunities from something a CSM records after the fact to something CS Cloud proactively helps identify, once expansion policies are configured in the Work Suggestion pipeline. Recommendation coverage depends on having enough product-ownership history for an account — small or sparse customers may see fewer or no recommendations — and suggestions are confidence-ranked, not guaranteed, so they should be reviewed before acting on them.

For more information, see Identifying Expansion Opportunities.

Expansion Opportunities

Expansion Opportunities

Track KPIs Faster in a Redesigned Value Tracker

Manage Objective KPIs with far less friction. KPIs are now created and edited in a focused window instead of a dense grid, and can be given their own start date — so a KPI added after an Objective is already underway is judged against when it actually started, not the Objective's original start date. A new Record Details panel brings KPI progress, baseline/current values, and value trending together in one place, and product selection is filtered automatically to what's relevant to the Objective and Account. Deleting a KPI now asks for confirmation first.

For more information, see Value Tracker Overview.

Updating Objective KPIs

Turn Health Scores into Automated Action

Use Account and Product Health Scores to trigger the right work automatically, not just to monitor status in a dashboard. Product Health Score can now be written out to a field alongside Account Health Score, so both are available outside analytics for automation and playbook triggers. Supporting dataset and performance improvements make the scores more practical to use at scale. This is most valuable to teams who already rely on health scores and want to act on changes proactively rather than reviewing them after the fact.

For more information, see Scheduling a Product Health Score Update.

CS Resource Management

Request resources

Route Playbook Tasks to the Right Cross-Functional Team Automatically

Get playbook tasks to the right person without a CSM having to manually assign them.~~ ~~Playbook templates can now assign tasks by resource role rather than defaulting everything to the CSM — when a playbook is created, tasks matching the creator's own role auto-assign to them, while every other task is created ready for the right cross-functional teammate to claim or for the CSM to assign out. CS Resource records stay in sync automatically as users are activated or deactivated; licence grants and revocations aren't auto-synced (a Salesforce platform limitation), so admins get a one-click "Sync Resources from Users" action — also callable from Agentforce or Flow — to reconcile those on demand. Two supporting Apex classes require an explicit permission grant from the customer admin post-install, and there's no automatic backfill on upgrade — run "Sync Resources from Users" once after installing to reconcile any existing drift.

For more information, see About Resourcing.

Estimation

Create estimates

See Every Grouping Criterion Before You Consolidate Resource Requests

When you consolidate role requests into resource requests, you can now choose from a preset of grouping criteria and see every criterion that preset is actually applying — with a subtotal for each group — directly in the preview grid. Previously there was a gap between what the estimate was really grouping on and what the preview showed, which made it easy to create the wrong number of resource requests without realising it. Estimators can now trust the preview and consolidate with confidence the first time, rather than discovering a mismatch after resource requests have already been created.

For more information, see Manage Resource Grouping Overview.

Choose Exactly Which Estimate Product Items Get Added to Your Estimate

Estimators can now choose which items within an estimate product actually get added when they build an estimate, instead of every item coming along automatically. Mark the items you use most often as defaults so they pre-select themselves, then add or remove items for the specific scenario in front of you — a small deployment, a large one, whatever the estimate calls for — through the Manage Products modal or Guided Scoping. This removes the tedious clean-up of deleting items you didn't want and makes it realistic to model several staffing plans from one set of estimate products, instead of maintaining near-duplicate products for every variation.

Select Estimate Product Items

Select Estimate Product Items

For more information, see Estimate Product Items Overview.

View and Adjust Your Estimate Schedule in the Timeline

Estimators can now see an estimate's full delivery schedule as a visual, The timeline directly in the Estimate Builder, instead of reading dates from a flat grid, with hierarchy validation, zoom, and undo/redo as estimators refine the view. This gives estimators a clearer way to build and validate a realistic delivery schedule — and a visual they can carry through to the statement of work.

Estimate Timeline View

Estimate Timeline View

For more information, see Timeline View Overview.

Set a Standard Column Layout for Everyone in the Estimate Builder

Administrators can now define the default column order for the Estimate Builder grid at the org level, instead of leaving every estimator to arrange their own columns from scratch. Set it up once from the admin area, and every user starts from the same layout. Estimators can still personalise their own view by reordering columns and saving their own layout, without disturbing the org default for anyone else. This removes the repetitive column setup that used to reset whenever local browser storage was cleared, giving estimating teams a consistent, ready-to-use view from day one.

Estimate Builder Column Ordering

Estimate Builder Column Ordering

For more information, see Manage Estimate Builder Columns Overview.

Manage estimate financials

Set a Fixed Price at the Estimate Product Level — No Line Sets Required

Pricing managers can now set a static baseline price directly on an estimate product or estimate product instance, without first breaking the work into line sets. This means businesses that don't structure their estimates around line sets can still separate price from cost — fix what you'll charge and let the underlying cost move without having to recalculate the bill amount every time. Arrow indicators show estimators at a glance whether the current price is higher or lower than the original baseline, with any conflicting line-set baseline simply overridden by the estimate product's own price (estimators can still adjust either value afterward).

Baseline Price on the Estimate Product

Baseline Price on the Estimate Product

For more information, see Estimate Pricing Method Overview.

Build the Logic Behind Custom Pricing Methods Using Formulas Instead of Code

Pricing administrators can now define the variables that drive a custom pricing method using formulas — referencing fields directly from the estimate — instead of writing additional Apex code for every variable. Configure each variable's formula in a dedicated editor, validate it as you go, and see the effect on the estimate's live pricing in the Estimate Builder as soon as it's saved, so a formula that doesn't calculate what it was meant to surfaces immediately rather than after the estimate is out the door. This gives customers whose pricing has been too bespoke to model in the Estimator until now a practical way to express their own pricing logic, with field-level security controlling who can view or edit each variable.

Estimate Pricing Variable

Estimate Pricing Variable

For more information, see Estimate Pricing Variable Overview.

Roll Up Your Own Custom Metrics Across the Estimate Hierarchy

Estimators can now configure their own rollup rules to consolidate custom field values from role requests, tasks, or line sets up to higher levels of the estimate — summing values, counting records, or finding the minimum or maximum — without building or maintaining Apex triggers to do it. Define which records contribute with an optional filter, and the rollup stays up to date without further manual work. This gives teams that track custom metrics across an estimate, such as FTE counts or specialised cost figures, a configuration-only way to keep those totals current at every level of the plan.

Custom Rollup Rule

Custom Rollup Rule

For more information, see Custom Rollup Rules Overview.

Carry Your Estimate's Negotiated Rates Through to the Project in PSA

Pricing managers and resource managers can trust that rates negotiated on an estimate carry through to the resulting project, instead of resource requests silently reverting to your organisation's standard list prices — closing off the margin risk of delivery quietly reverting to list price after a deal is struck.

For more information, see Rate Card Sets.

Project Management

Manage project plans

Collaborate Directly on Project Tasks with Built-In Commenting

Keep the conversation about a task where the work actually happens. Project teams can now add comments directly on project tasks — from the task board or Project Gantt, in Salesforce and in Experience Cloud Sites — capturing decisions, context, and history in one place instead of scattering it across email and chat threads. Each comment carries a timestamp and author, so anyone picking up a task later can see what was discussed and when, and permissions follow the same access rules already in place for the task and project. This brings task-level collaboration in line with modern project management practice, helping teams spend less time hunting for context and more time keeping delivery moving.

Triage and Update Your Whole RAID Log Without Leaving the Tracker

The RAID Tracker's combined view brings every Risk, Issue, Assumption, Action, Dependency, and Decision into a single grid — and it now supports both creating and editing items in place. Project managers can add a new RAID record directly instead of navigating away to a separate record page, and can inline-edit key fields like status, owner, due date, and priority across all RAID types from the same combined screen.Together, these reduce time spent in governance meetings such as project reviews or standups, as: project teams can now capture, triage, and update their whole RAID log from one place, in the flow of the meeting.

Manage Every Action and To-Do Without Leaving Your Project

Project teams get a single, embeddable to-do list for tracking RAID actions in context, right on the project or project task record. Add an action with a quick one-line entry, or open the full form for more detail; the list automatically scopes to whatever record it's placed on, so a project task page shows only that task's open actions. Keeping day-to-day follow-ups visible alongside the delivery work they relate to reduces missed items and gives project managers one place to check what still needs attention — available on standard Lightning project pages and in Experience Cloud project sites.

Project To-Do List Embedded on a Project Record

Schedule to the Hour, Across Time Zones, and at Scale with Project Gantt

Plan work with the precision your delivery schedule actually needs: it’s now just as easy to schedule a short customer checkpoint or an evening deployment window as a full day of work. Lock a project to a single Project Timezone so every task date and time reads the same for every stakeholder, wherever they're logging in from — global delivery teams get one unambiguous schedule instead of reconciling local-time interpretations.

Project Gantt also holds up on your largest, most complex plans. Estimated costs roll up and recalculate live as you adjust resourcing, so project managers see the financial impact of a staffing decision immediately, and turning on Adjust Project Timeline lets a single change to a project's start date cascade automatically across every task rather than a manual update one by one. All up, this makes Project Gantt the recommended planning surface for time-sensitive, globally distributed, and high-volume delivery work. If you're still using Classic Gantt, now's the time to plan your switch.

Get Proactive Project Insights and Summaries Through the Project Assistant Agent

The Project Assistant Agent now gives project managers a fuller picture of a project's health in conversation. As well as getting a full summary of a project, you can ask who's working on a project this week, which tasks are blocking or overdue, or which assignments are running over on hours — including the same resource-overallocation analysis that powers Project Gantt's impact analysis for already-saved tasks — and get a direct answer with the reasons behind it, without opening the Gantt or running a report (Project Assistant Agent requires the AI Core package and a Veda License).

Manage Staffing Demand at the Opportunity Stage within the Work Planner

Engagement and Resource Managers, responsible for multiple opportunities can now organize their view of the work to group by opportunity, helping them address staffing needs more holistically, seeing every associated resource request in one place. In addition they can filter by any opportunity to zero in on exactly the work they need.

Salespeople can also benefit from a dedicated opportunity record Work Planner on the opportunity page (requires read access to the opportunity object and access to PS Cloud), helping them visualize the shape of the work at the earliest opportunity.

Staff a Known Resource Directly from Resource Request Staffer

When you already know who should do the work, a new Chosen Resource column in Resource Request Staffer lets you pick a resource directly - the matching engine still validates them for suitability and availability, but the choice is yours, and it won't be reassigned elsewhere or overridden. You can combine chosen and automatically matched resources within the same staffing run, so simple, obvious placements and more complex ones can be handled together (an administrator enables the Chosen Resource column via the component's Lightning App Builder properties before it appears).

Make the Move from the Legacy Resource Planner to a More Complete Work Planner

Resource Planner remains available today, but it's scheduled for deprecation in Winter 2027 - this release bridges the gaps. Global search and the ability to apply a schedule pattern over time bring the Work Planner in line with the convenience of the older tool, and a set of additional enhancements - drag-and-drop reallocation of work in the Scheduler view, saved quick filters, support for hyperlinks in left-hand columns, better use of screen space and ability to select multiple records in the Scheduler view bring net new capabilities.

Work Planner: Apply Schedule Pattern

Work Planner: Apply Schedule Pattern

Additionally reallocating work now surfaces ranked resource recommendations directly in the reallocation modal and other staffing action modals, based on Intelligent Staffing, requirements, and staffing preferences - so you can identify a good fit without leaving the workflow to search manually (requires Intelligent Staffing to be configured).

Also in this release: Split, Swap, and Reallocate are now consistently available across both Assignments and Held Resource Requests from the right-click menu, with a direct one-step split into a new Held Resource Request; and you can pin a resource or project at the parent level to keep it in view across Work Planner sessions.

Get More Predictable Schedules with a New Whole Hours Distribution Strategy

A new Whole Hours Distribution scheduling strategy is available in PSA, mirroring the strategy already used in Services Estimator. Instead of splitting hours evenly into decimal amounts that can introduce rounding inconsistencies, it distributes whole hours across the working days in a schedule, giving resource managers and the resources themselves a schedule that adds up cleanly to the planned total. The new strategy is available by default when a schedule is first created (existing scheduling configuration lets administrators set it as the standard or hide it).

Skills Management

Manage resource skills

Build Resource Skill Profiles Faster by Extracting Skills from a CV or Text

Populating a resource's skill profile no longer means adding skills one at a time from memory. You can now paste in a list of skill terms, or upload a CV or job description as a PDF or text file, and have the terms matched automatically against your organization's skill repository — including close matches, not just exact ones — with the results surfaced for review before anything is saved. This gives resources a fast way to build out richer, more accurate skill profiles, which in turn improves the quality of skills-based staffing decisions across the board (document upload and AI-assisted matching require the AI Core package and a Veda License).

Be Alerted When It's Time to Update a Skill Rating

Skill ratings can now flag themselves for review based on how recently they've been evidenced. Ratings are evaluated against the skills actually used on your closed assignments, and the Manage Skills and Certifications window shows an evaluation-date icon and groups skills by how recently they were rated, so it's easy to spot ones that are falling out of date. Where enabled by an administrator, you'll also get a notification prompting you to review and refresh your ratings.

Manage skills taxonomy

Browse and Discover Skills and Certifications Instead of Typing Exact Names

Adding skills and certifications to a resource request no longer requires knowing their exact names. A new Browse button opens a Select Skills and Certifications window where you can discover records across your full catalog, and skill sets now show how many skills and certifications they contain right in the list. This is available everywhere you create or manage resource requests, making it easier to build accurate requests without relying on memorized skill names. The new Browse capability is designed to complement search rather than replace it.

Create Resource Requests: Browse Button

Manage Skills and Certifications from One Dedicated Workspace

Skills administration now has a single home: the Skills and Certifications Workspace consolidates pages and links that were previously accessed through separate tabs, cutting down on navigation time. Administrators can rearrange the workspace to match how their team works.

As part of this consolidation, we announce the planned retirement of the legacy Skills Matrix Visualforce page with resource skills being managed via its replacement the Manage Skills and Certifications component. (The workspace is available via the separate PSA Workspace package, installed alongside Core PSA).

Retire Obsolete Skills Without Losing Historical Data

You can now mark a Skill, Certification, or Skill Set as inactive from its record page or list view, without deleting it - historical data and existing associations are fully preserved, and inactive items are automatically excluded from operational skill selection and search across most Resource Management screens. An Inactive column and filter make it easy to review status at a glance, and administrators can also mark skills or skill sets inactive through Salesforce Flow or Agentforce automation - useful when, for example, a service line is discontinued. Nothing is auto-inactivated on upgrade; existing skill data and behavior are unchanged until an administrator chooses to review and retire specific skills.

Time Management

Enter time

Enter Time Faster with a More Complete Modern Timesheet Experience

Timesheet Entry now covers more of the day-to-day detail teams rely on. The biggest change is task-first entry, making it much easier to log time against your active tasks. You can also search cases, phases, and methodologies directly from the grid — with the relevant project and milestone context sitting alongside the hours you're logging — instead of hunting through a longer list. A run of smaller improvements addresses everyday friction on top of that, from required-field enforcement to a holiday indicator.

Find What You're Looking for Faster on Mobile Time and Expense Entry

Looking up a project, assignment, or other field while entering time or expenses on a phone is now a full-screen, card-based experience instead of a cramped table view. Each result shows the key details at a glance, with a show-more option for full record detail, and a single tap on a row selects it. Administrators can configure which fields appear in the mobile card view for their org, so the most useful information is front and centre for their business.

Financials for Services

Track services financials

Leverage Services Deliverables Aligned with Salesforce Products to Support a Streamlined Sales-to-Delivery Process

Create projects with the right services deliverables already in place. Cut a manual step out of every deal that includes productized services by automatically adding any services deliverables sold on that opportunity's products to the project — no more manual work to re-add them and risk a mismatch between what was sold and what shows up on the project.

Linking a services deliverable to its Salesforce product also means you can manage its pricing through standard Salesforce pricebooks and see deliverable performance reporting alongside the products that represent them.

For more information, see Creating a Project from an Opportunity.

Manage Services Deliverable Pricing and Configuration in Bulk

A new user interface lets users who manage services deliverables edit price allocation, services credits, and active status for every item at once and save all the changes together.

The window used to add deliverables to a project now shows price totals as you build the list, and administrators can extend both that window and the deliverable items grid with their own custom fields, so the columns shown match how your organization actually tracks services deliverables.

For more information, see Adding Deliverables to Projects.

Track project financials

Track Every Project Cost in One Place, Not Just Labor

Base pricing and profitability decisions on complete data using a dedicated project cost record which now gives costs that don't come from your own people — subcontractors, vendors, hardware, software — a proper home: categorize them, attach a vendor and purchase order, and set delivery dates and status.

Project managers and services leads get an accurate view of total project cost — labor and non-labor together — in services forecasting, so the numbers you plan and forecast against reflect everything a project actually costs.

Manage bill/cost rates

Keep Project Costs Accurate as Resource Rates Change Throughout a Project

Cost rates rarely stay flat for the life of a project — pay rises, promotions, and rate-card updates used to mean closing a resource request and opening a new one just to reflect the change. Dated cost rate cards remove that friction: apply a rate change once and it flows automatically through resource requests, assignments, and timecards, keeping cost accurate without the manual rework.

That same accuracy now extends into cost forecasting: dated cost rates on resource requests and assignments are reflected in the correct forecast periods, so long-running projects keep a trustworthy forecasted margin instead of one based on stale, static rates. Resource managers, project managers, and services leads get a consistent aggregated view of cost across resource requests, assignments, and timecards in the forecast.

On parent forecasts, these cards roll up the figures from every child project, region, practice, or group forecast beneath them, so leadership gets a trustworthy consolidated view across the whole hierarchy.

For more information, see Region, Practice, and Group Forecasts.

See Forecasted Revenue and Cost for Work You Haven't Scheduled Yet

On deliverable/time & materials projects, work a customer has already agreed to which has not yet been scheduled used to be excluded from the forecast entirely. Services forecasting can now calculate that unscheduled revenue and cost automatically, so services leads and forecasters see a complete, accurate picture of what's been sold even before work is assigned to a resource.

You can choose whether expenses count toward the calculation, so it matches how your organization already forecasts, and the remaining amount is never shown as a negative, so it never overstates what's left to deliver.

Switch Between Project and Corporate Currency within the Forecast

Easily switch between project currency and corporate currency, providing project managers one forecast they can use to communicate with both their operational and management teams, in each team's own currency. Any adjustment you enter in your working currency is automatically converted to your corporate currency using your organization's standard rate tables.

For more information, see Switching Between Project and Corporate Currencies in a Forecast.

Easily Collaborate with Your Team Using @Mentions Directly in the Forecast

When you need to inform about, or discuss a specific number/topic on a forecast, you can now @mention a colleague or set of colleagues directly in a forecast comment. They're notified immediately and can jump straight into the thread from the notification. This keeps forecast conversations in context, instead of spilling into email or chat, giving service leaders and project managers a clear, attributable record of who was asked to weigh in and when.

For more information, see Adding a Comment to a Forecast Cell.

A Clearer, More Complete View from the Project Forecast Dashboard

The Project Forecast dashboard now shows a past actuals column alongside the forecast, and margin as a percentage in the summary cards — with the underlying value still a click away in a tooltip. A project/corporate currency switch and a new target or budget comparison allow the PM to view the dashboard in exactly the way they work.

For more information, see Project Forecast Dashboard.

Financial Planning and Analysis

Manage plans

Retain Manual Adjustments Saved into Previously Empty Cells

Manual adjustments you save into a previously empty cell are preserved every time the plan refreshes from Analytics — including when the plan has "Delete obsolete plan data" enabled. Your entered numbers stay exactly where you put them, however the plan refreshes its data.

For more information, see Update Plans with the Latest Data from Analytics.

Also Available to FP&A Plans: Currency Pairing and @Mentions

Currency pairing at the cell level and @mentions in cell comments — both described under Financials for Services above — work in a similar way for plans built for financial planning and analysis, so FP&A users get both.

When a plan has Home and Dual Values in different currencies, a currency measure pair allows you to switch between Home and Dual Values in the plan. Create the plan with a Default Unit dimension of Home Currency, mark Home Value as the primary measure, and mark Dual Value as the secondary measure.

For more information, see Plan Structure Overview (@mentions: Cell Comments in Plans).

Generate plans

Faster, Simpler Refreshes from Analytics — with Full Control When You Need It

Refreshing a plan with the latest data no longer means stepping through a multi-step wizard every time. A single click now updates your plan using its saved default filters and mappings — no configuration required — while the full Advanced wizard (dataset filters, measure filters, dimension value mappings) stays available whenever you do need to customize an update. Administrators can grant access to the quick refresh and the Advanced wizard independently through feature permissions, and everyone already configured today is upgraded automatically with no change to what they can do.

Revenue Management

Recognize revenue

Filter and Group Recognition Data Using Your Own Source-Object Fields

Build Recognition Management views around the fields that matter to your business. The Recognition Management analytics grid now supports up to eight configurable Analysis Items, so administrators can map fields from the source objects you recognize revenue against, with every mapped field automatically synced into the underlying dataset for grouping and filtering. Note that only Analysis items 1–4 pass through to Journals in Accounting; items 5–8 are available for grouping and filtering in Recognition Management only. This restores flexibility customers lost when moving to Recognition Schedules, letting revenue managers filter and group recognition data by the criteria specific to their business without needing engineering support to add new fields.

Work in a Cleaner, More Focused Recognition Management Workspace

Get to the actions you use most without hunting for them. The Recognition Management page has been streamlined for revenue managers and operations teams — the former header and sidebar panel have been cleared to make more room for the grid, with everyday actions like synchronizing recognition schedules, refreshing the analytics dataset, and automating processes now available as single-click buttons at the top of the page. A dashboard-type setting lets administrators configure the page to show revenue, cost, or a combined view, and the task launcher has been reorganized so the actions you need are easier to find.

For more information, see Recognition Management Page.

Preview Revenue and Cost Totals by Currency Before You Recognize

Know what you're about to recognize before you commit. The Recognition Management page now shows key performance indicators for scheduled, recognizable, and recognized revenue and cost, plus the resulting realization rate, directly above the grid — broken out by currency and updated instantly as filters are applied. Revenue managers working across multiple currencies can expand the revenue or cost view independently, reviewing totals with confidence before running recognition instead of reconciling manually afterward.

Tax Management

Enable country-specific capabilities

Stay Compliant with Poland's Mandatory VAT Reporting (KSeF)

Meet Poland's mandatory VAT reporting requirements directly from Certinia Accounting. Sales invoices, sales credit notes, payable invoices, and payable credit notes now carry the unique KSeF identifiers assigned by Poland's National e-Invoicing System, and these identifiers flow through automatically to the existing Avalara VAT reporting integration used for filing. This means accountants and controllers who file VAT returns in Poland can complete mandated reporting on the Certinia platform, without sourcing a separate third-party compliance tool.

Order Fulfillment

Manage order fulfillment activities

Allocate, Split, Cancel, and Clone Sales Orders Faster with Modern Lightning Actions

Process sales orders with fewer clicks and less back-and-forth. You can now allocate inventory to a sales order line directly from the sales order lines grid — with expanded filtering by warehouse, condition, availability, and ownership — without opening each line's detail page. Select multiple lines at once to split them into a new sales order, cancel a sales order or an individual line, or clone an existing sales order, using new Lightning actions in place of the older Visualforce screens. Together, these changes speed up day-to-day order processing for sales and fulfillment teams.

Accounts Receivable

Generate and send customer invoices

Send Compliant E-Invoices in Spain and France with the Storecove Integration

If you're based in or trading with Spain, you can now issue, receive, and store electronic invoices in the structured format the Spanish tax authority (AEAT) requires under the Crea y Crece law, using the Storecove e-invoicing integration's new support for Spain's Verifactu framework. A small set of field mappings for less common scenarios — invoice typology, credit note correction reasons, tax-exemption codes, and special tax regime codes — aren't currently supported through Storecove. A new Spain Verifactu Setup step in the Feature Console walks administrators through enabling and configuring the integration, so your accounts receivable team can meet the mandate without engaging a separate compliance vendor.

If you're based in or trading with France, you can now issue, receive, and store electronic invoices in the structured format to meet the French e-invoicing mandate, using the Storecove e-invoicing integration so your accounts receivable team can meet the mandate without engaging a separate compliance vendor.

Accounts Payable

Record and approve vendor invoices

Post Accurate GL Entries the First Time on Payable Invoices, Credit Notes, and Inventory Transactions

Stop reclassifying misposted invoices every close: you can now override the default product general ledger account (GLA) directly on payable invoice and payable credit note lines — the same flexibility already available for sales invoices and sales credit notes — and on inventory transaction financial records before they're exported to Accounting. This removes the manual month-end reclassification and spreadsheet work finance teams currently do to correct GLAs after the fact, cutting close time and the risk of misposted transactions. Built-in validation keeps postings accurate — an override only applies where the corresponding setting is enabled, and the system checks it against the correct local chart of accounts before letting it through — once you've added the new override fields to your page layouts and granted access through the Accounting permission sets.

For more information, see Payable Invoice Fields.

General Ledger

Manage prepaid expenses

Review and Refine Prepaid Expense Journals Before You Post Them

A new Lightning experience for prepaid expenses replaces the legacy screen, giving accountants and controllers one place to build, review, and refine proposed general ledger journals before they're created. Customize which payable-invoice expense-line columns you see, default new journal-line dimensions and descriptions from the criteria you set instead of adding them after the fact, remove any lines you don't want to post, and then post the full batch of proposed journals in a single run. This cuts the manual rework that came with reclassifying dimensions or descriptions once journals already existed, so accounting teams can spend their time reviewing proposals rather than fixing them line by line. The previous prepaid expenses screen remains available while you transition to the new experience.

Organization Setup and Administration

Enable connectors

Audit Trail between Sales Credit Note Lines and the original Sales Invoice Lines with the PSA-Accounting Connector

When you revert billing on a billing event that already has a posted sales invoice, the PSA-Accounting Connector now automatically links each line on the resulting sales credit note back to the specific invoice line it reverses — and the same in reverse, when a sales invoice is later created against that credit note. This gives finance and project teams a direct, one-to-one trail between an invoice and its reversal, so audits and reconciliations no longer require manually matching line items by hand, reducing the risk of duplicate billing errors and reconciliation discrepancies.

For more information, see Reverting Billing Data.

More Reliable Bulk Sync Between PSA and Jira

The PSA Direct for Jira connector now handles bulk actions cleanly. Creating a project from a template, or updating a batch of tasks together, syncs to Jira without creating duplicate tickets, even when several changes are moving through the connector queue at the same time — each PSA record now maps to exactly one Jira ticket. This keeps data clean on both sides, so project managers and Jira admins can rely on bulk operations instead of avoiding them or cleaning up duplicates afterwards. Enabling the fix requires a one-time Jira-side configuration step from a Jira administrator.

Keep Lookup Data Accurate in Every Custom Interface

System administrators can now register lookup filter configurations in a single new setup screen in Foundations, defining which records should appear in a lookup field the same way filters already work in standard Lightning pages. This is a Foundations-level building block: once a Certinia product adds support for it in its own custom interfaces — such as data grids — users of that screen will see only valid, relevant records instead of picking from an unfiltered list, cutting down on incorrect selections and the data clean-up that follows. Ask your Certinia account team which packages support this today.

Upgrade to latest version

Get Answers Scoped to Your Own Environment from Smart Release Notes

When you ask about a new feature or an upgrade step, Smart Release Notes now takes into account the packages and versions actually installed in your production org, so system administrators get an answer scoped to their own environment without first checking which release they're on. It also remembers earlier questions from the same conversation, so follow-up questions build on what you've already discussed instead of starting over each time.

Every answer also links directly to the specific section of the help documentation it was drawn from, so you can quickly confirm the source rather than searching a long page for it, and you can tell us directly whether an answer was useful — feedback we're collecting to help guide future improvements. Smart Release Notes and these enhancements are rolling out gradually; speak to your Certinia contact to find out what's available to you.

Manage Scheduled Jobs from a Modern, Lightning-Based Page

System administrators can now run multiple scheduled jobs at once — something the previous setup screen didn't support. Scheduled Jobs are now configured from a new page built with Lightning technology, carrying over the existing configuration options from the old page. This also gets you ahead of the retirement of the legacy Sencha-based interface, which reaches end of life on December 31, 2026.

For more information, see Scheduled Jobs Overview.

Recalculate Actuals for multiple Regions, Practices, and Groups Without a Full System Recalculation

Correct or update Actuals for multiple specific region, practice, or group without running a full, time-consuming recalculation across your entire hierarchy. The Actuals Recalculation page lets you target exactly the records affected — regions, practices, groups, projects, or resources from a new consolidated page. This gives system administrators and finance teams a faster, lower-risk way to keep Actuals accurate as project classifications change.

For more information, see Recalculating Actuals.

Filter AI-Generated Summaries Down to the Records That Matter

AI-generated summaries can now be scoped to just the related records that matter, so people relying on them — including in complex setups like enterprise resourcing, where a project can have many related skills or delivery records — get more accurate output they can trust. When configuring a summary, admins and consultants can add a sub-related list one level down from the main object (for example, a project's related skills) and filter it by type, status, or a numeric or text threshold — such as only skills rated above 3 — through a guided, step-by-step wizard with no custom development required. Ask your Certinia account team which products currently consume this configuration.

For more information, see Adding Sub-Related Lists in the AI Prompt Configuration Builder.

Monitor performance

Find and Diagnose Background Jobs Faster in the Async Framework Tracker

System administrators can now diagnose a stuck or failing background job quickly, without hunting through long lists of rows in the Async Framework Tracker. The newest job activity surfaces first, your filters and column choices persist between refreshes, and deeper record and parameter detail is available right in the panel — so you spend less time searching and more time resolving the issue.

For more information, see Asynchronous Framework Tracker Overview.

Stop Non-Actionable Background Job Alerts From Flooding Your Inbox

System administrators get a quieter inbox: non-actionable, no-action-needed exception emails from Certinia's background job processing are now suppressed, so alerts about genuinely unrelated issues in your org don't get lost in the noise. Nothing is lost in the process — the full error detail, including issues the framework already retries automatically, is still written in full to the org's application log for admins or Certinia Support to review. If a specific customization needs the original email behavior, administrators can exclude it from this suppression.

For more information, see Async Job Record Fields.

Add Context to Your KPI and Highlight Cards with Built-in Help Text

Give the dashboards you already rely on a bit more context, right where you're looking. KPI and Highlight cards now support built-in help text: hover over the info icon on a card to see a short explanation of what the metric means. Admins configure the text once, and everyone who views that card sees the same explanation automatically — helpful for anyone who relies on these dashboards day to day, since it removes the guesswork around what a number on a card actually represents.
