How to Update Your Email Address

Important Policy Note: You may only update your email address to one associated with your current employer. Changing your email to a different employer's domain or to a personal email address (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook) is not permitted.

To update the email associated with your Certinia Community profile, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your Certinia Community account.
2. Click your profile picture in the upper right corner.
3. Click My Profile.
4. Click Edit, then update Email, and click Save.
5. Log in to your old email and follow the steps in the email(s) for finishing and verifying your email change.

Unable to Access with Old Email Address

If you do not have access to your old email address, follow these steps:

1. Open a case to Certinia Support via the Support page.
2. In the case details, provide the following:
   • Username associated with your Certinia Community profile
     • Specify whether you would like your username updated as well
   • Old email address
   • New email address

How to Update Your Username 

To update the username associated with your Certinia Community profile, follow these steps:

1. Open a case to Certinia Support via the Support page.
2. In the case details, provide the following:
   • Current username associated with your Certinia Community profile
   • Preferred new username (must be in an email format)
     • Usernames must be unique across Salesforce, so if the preferred username is already in use, Certinia will use a similar variation to make it unique.
