Retirement: Revenue Management Forecasting Module

The Forecast Revenue feature is scheduled for retirement and deactivation in a future release, no sooner than January 2027. Current users must adopt alternative solutions for revenue forecasting. Recommended alternatives include using Revenue Scheduled By Period reports, recognition schedules, or PSA's Revenue Forecasting feature if integrated. Customers may also work with a consultant to develop custom analytics reports.

  • Certinia is retiring the Forecast Revenue feature and it'll be deactivated in a future release, no sooner than January 2027.
  • Certinia will continue to support the Forecast Revenue feature, but it is recommended that customers:
    • Use the Revenue Scheduled By Period report in the RM Report Templates folder
    • Build reports on recognition schedule data to gain insight into a company's future revenue position.
    • Work with an administrator to start using recognition schedules and related reports. For information about migrating to recognition schedules, see Migrating from Actuals to Recognition Schedules.
    • Alternatively if Revenue Management is integrated with PSA, customers can use PSA's Revenue Forecasting feature.
  • Any users who currently use that Module to create Revenue Forecast Transactions and Lines to provide revenue forecast reports must adopt one or more alternative solutions (Revenue Schedules, PSA Services Forecasting, xP&A).
  • It may be possible to use packaged or custom analytics reports as required. Use the help of a qualified consultant to complete this.
