xRB: User Unable to View Data in xRB Reports

Users may be unable to see data in xRB reports. This issue occurs when other users can view the data in the same report. The cause is a missing User Company record for the affected user. To resolve this, create a User Company record for that individual.

Symptoms
  1. Navigate to the xRB report
  2. Open a specific report 
  3. The report will load with no data returned (the report appears empty)
    1. Other users are able to see data in the same report
Resolution

To resolve:

  1. Create a User Company for the affected user (see How to Enable a Company For a User for steps)
  2. Verify the User Company:
    1. Navigate to App Launcher > User Companies tab
    2. Select the All list view
    3. Use the search bar to type the user's name
    4. Ensure there is a record where the user and company match the reporting requirements 
Cause
  • The affected user does not have a User Company record created 
Additional Notes
  • Confirm the impacted users have been assigned the Business Analytics license
